Police ask public’s help in locating a man wanted for possession of a firearm

Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on charges for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Anyone with information about Daryl M. Garland’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Roanoke Police Department on its tipline at (540) 344-8500 or the U.S. Marshals Task Force at (540) 537-1902.
Authorities advise the public not to approach him if they notice him and to immediately call one of the aforementioned numbers.
Callers may remain anonymous.
