Miss America visits Mayor Sherman P. Lea
Roanoke, Virginia – While in Roanoke for the Miss Virginia 2021 competition, Miss America 2020 Camille Schrier met with Roanoke’s Mayor Sherman P. Lea on Friday at his office.
The two of them talked about the possibility of holding the competition once again in Roanoke. As a present Camille Schrier gave Mayor Lea a signed photo.
“To come back and really be a part of the traditions that always were part of Miss Virginia is really fun for me because I finally feel like I get that experience that so many women prior to me did get,” Miss America 2020 Camille Schrier said.
Miss Virginia finals were held on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Berglund Center.
