House fire in Danville has left several individuals and one pet without a home
Danville, Virginia – A house fire on Sunday morning resulted in the displacement of several individuals and one pet, as reported by the Danville Fire Department.
At 9:21 a.m. on Sunday, firefighters were dispatched to a reported fire at a structure located in the 160 block of Canterbury Road.
Upon arrival, the initial responders discovered a two-story residence with visible smoke and an exterior blaze that was extending to the enclosed front porch of the property.
All residents and a pet were successfully evacuated without incident.
Authorities report that the blaze was put out with little harm to the residence.
