Danville, Virginia – A second group of volunteers will be dispatched by God’s Pit Crew’s Immediate Disaster Response Team to begin their Holiday Relief Mission.

To assist locals who are still recuperating from the effects of Hurricane Helene, volunteers will be dispatched to Western North Carolina.

Most families are still dealing with the devastating losses and devastation caused by Helene as the holiday season approaches. During the holidays, the Holiday Relief Mission will support restoration efforts and offer hope to those affected in the communities.

Over the past four weeks, volunteers from 25 states have been helping more than 200 families in Asheville with recovery efforts.

Volunteers will be deployed to North Carolina for relief activities and as part of God’s Pit Crew Holiday Relief Mission after taking a brief respite back home. Red tractor-trailers will be available, fully furnished to assist homes with mold removal, flood cleanup, building deconstruction, and the removal of damaged trees and debris.

You can volunteer by going to GodsPitCrew.org. The website also includes a North Carolina Assistance Form in case you require assistance.

“This storm has brought us some of the most devastating experiences and testimonies we’ve encountered in our 25-year run,” said Randy Johnson, president of God’s Pit Crew. “We are still praying for everyone affected; from severe property damage to family losses, many people will have a difficult journey ahead of them.”

In a time when love and hope have looked so far away over the past month, Johnson continued, “Holiday Relief Mission will be a powerful way to come together and serve others in need.” “We rely on the donors and volunteers who serve as the ministry’s primary lifeblood to keep us moving forward, and we pray to assist as many people affected by Helene as we can.”

GodsPitCrew.org offers volunteer and donation options, and you can reach a representative by phone at (434) 836-4472.
