Collaboration to give jailed prisoners employment skills
Henry County, Virginia – In order to provide jailed individuals with the skills necessary for employment, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office has announced a cooperation with Patrick & Henry Community College.
On Monday, November 4, President Greg Hodges of Patrick & Henry Community College and Sheriff Wayne Davis brought attention to their partnership.
The participants in this program will be required to attend intensive training classes for a period of fifteen weeks, during which they will have the option to work toward earning credentials in industrial wiring.
This project would not have been possible without the assistance of Patrick & Henry Community College, to which Sheriff Davis expressed his gratitude.
