City of Roanoke offices to be closed for New Year’s Day holiday
Roanoke, Virginia – The City of Roanoke notifies citizens that all city offices will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021, for the New Year’s Day holiday.
In addition, for the New Year’s Day holiday, all city library branches will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021, and Saturday, January 1, 2022.
Trash collecting, recycling, bulk goods, and brush collection will continue as usual throughout the week after the New Year’s Day holiday (Jan. 3-6, 2022).
Residents may place real Christmas trees and brush items for pickup at the curb. Please take down all of the decorations from the trees.
