This represents a price gap of $0.70 per gallon. Yesterday, the state had prices ranging from $3.99 per gallon all the way up to $5.69 per gallon, with a difference of $1.70 per gallon between the lowest and highest prices.
The price of gas throughout the country has increased by 11 cents per gallon in the last week, and it now stands at an average of $4.57 per gallon today. According to data compiled by GasBuddy from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country, the national average has increased by 45.4 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands $1.55 per gallon higher than it did a year ago.
