Woman injured in Roanoke crash involving an ambulance
Roanoke, Virginia – A woman was being injured following a collision in Roanoke that involved an ambulance.
The collision happened just after 1 p.m. on Orange Avenue, between a Starbucks and a Sheetz, when an ambulance crashed into the rear of a woman’s vehicle, causing her to hit another vehicle.
According to the authorities, the ambulance had been transporting a passenger, and a woman and a kid were the occupants of the first vehicle.
The Roanoke Police Department and the Roanoke County Police Department both responded to the collision. One woman was injured as a result of the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
