Man facing charges after Radford police say he barricaded himself inside home

Roanoke, Virginia – Police announced Sunday night that charges are pending against a man after he barricaded himself inside a Radford home.
According to a statement released by the Radford Police Department on Sunday, Oct. 18, officers were called to the 500 block of Davis Street about a man barricading himself inside his home and making suicidal statements after having disagreements with his family and neighbors.
Police say they were able to negotiate with the man, who was transported to the New River Valley Medical Center.
The department not released the identity of the man or the charges he faces at this time.
