Health officials report 1,165 new Covid-19 cases, 1 more death in Virginia

Virginia – Virginia Department of Health reported 1,165 new Covid-19 cases and 1 additional virus related death across the Commonwealth on Monday morning.

With the above mentioned new cases and deaths, 697,939 Covid-19 cases and 11,634 deaths were recorded in the state since the beginning of the pandemic.

33 Virginians were hospitalized on Monday.

More than 104,000 Covid-19 cases have been reported from the following localities in Virginia, according to Virginia Department of Health:

  • Alleghany County: 1,412 cases, 72 hospitalizations, and 50 deaths
  • Amherst County: 3,077 cases, 133 hospitalizations, and 40 deaths
  • Appomattox County: 1,659 cases, 73 hospitalizations, and 26 deaths
  • Bath County: 278 cases, 11 hospitalizations, and 11 deaths
  • Bedford County: 6,905 cases, 262 hospitalizations, and 110 deaths
  • Bland County: 706 cases, 30 hospitalizations, and 10 deaths
  • Botetourt County: 2,743 cases, 70 hospitalizations, and 38 deaths
  • Buena Vista: 938 cases, 27 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
  • Campbell County: 5,132 cases, 219 hospitalizations, and 103 deaths
  • Carroll County: 2,776 cases, 231 hospitalizations, and 79 deaths
  • Charlotte County: 898 cases, 57 hospitalizations, and 21 deaths
  • Covington: 625 cases, 33 hospitalizations, and 14 deaths
  • Craig County: 339 cases, 18 hospitalizations, and 6 deaths
  • Danville: 4,556 cases, 322 hospitalizations, and 144 deaths
  • Floyd County: 906 cases, 31 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
  • Franklin County: 4,214 cases, 204 hospitalizations, and 83 deaths
  • Galax: 1,180 cases, 97 hospitalizations, and 53 deaths
  • Giles County: 1,369 cases, 55 hospitalizations, and 24 deaths
  • Grayson County: 1,542 cases, 106 hospitalizations, and 39 deaths
  • Halifax County: 2,886 cases, 84 hospitalizations, and 78 deaths
  • Henry County: 4,745 cases, 381 hospitalizations, and 124 deaths
  • Highland County: 115 cases, 1 hospitalization, and 1 death
  • Lexington: 1,207 cases, 29 hospitalizations, and 33 deaths

  • Martinsville: 1,643 cases, 171 hospitalizations, and 79 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 9,443 cases, 191 hospitalizations, and 81 deaths
  • Nelson County: 893 cases, 41 hospitalizations, and 13 deaths
  • Patrick County: 1,437 cases, 121 hospitalizations, and 46 deaths
  • Pittsylvania County: 5,763 cases, 280 hospitalizations, and 85 deaths
  • Pulaski County: 2,821 cases, 139 hospitalizations, and 69 deaths
  • Radford: 2,288 cases, 40 hospitalizations, and 28 deaths
  • Roanoke City: 8,935 cases, 275 hospitalizations, and 200 deaths
  • Roanoke County: 8,765 cases, 202 hospitalizations, and 148 deaths
  • Rockbridge County: 1,594 cases, 60 hospitalizations, and 48 deaths
  • Salem: 2,302 cases, 78 hospitalizations, and 50 deaths
  • Wythe County: 2,825 cases, 177 hospitalizations, and 81 deaths
