CVS to begin administering COVID-19 vaccine to eligible Virginians this week
LYNCHBURG (Va.) — CVS Health will begin to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible individuals at a number of locations across 11 states.

In Virginia, vaccinations will be available at CVS stores in the following locations:
- Abingdon
- Alexandria
- Arlington
- Bedford
- Blacksburg
- Charlottesville
- Chatham
- Chesapeake
- Danville
- Dublin
- Fairfax
- Fredericksburg
- Gainesville
- Hampton
- Harrisonburg
- Leesburg
- Lynchburg
- Martinsville
- Mechanicsville
- Midlothian
- Newport News
- Norfolk
- Portsmouth
- Richmond
- Roanoke
- Rocky Mount
- Stafford
- Suffolk
- Virginia Beach
- Warrenton
- Williamsburg
- Winchester
- Woodstock
Vaccines will be offered on an appointment-only basis. Those who are eligible and interested in getting the vaccine can sign up for an appointment at CVS.com or using the CVS Pharmacy app. Those who don’t have access to the internet can contact customer service at 800-746-7287. The scheduling system will open on Thursday.
Vaccinations were initially scheduled to begin on Thursday but in order to ensure in-store availability, the start date has been pushed back to Friday.

Individuals who are eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations are asked to use the appropriate digital channels or contact customer service to check for appointment availability.
