Bedford County Sheriff’s Office looks for missing teen
Vinton, Virginia – The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office is looking for public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager.
The 17-year-old Alyssa Heare was reported missing on July 10. She was wearing white shorts and a long-sleeve blue shirt the last time she was seen around 2:30 a.m. in the 5200 block of Jordantown Road in Vinton.
Investigators say Heare in not believed to be in danger and they assume she might have travelled to Roanoke area.
Anyone with information on Heare’s whereabouts is asked to call the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office at 540-586-7827.
