Authorities identified the body discovered on Monday
Roanoke, Virginia – The body of the woman that was discovered on Monday has been identified by the Roanoke County Police Department.
Kayla Nicole Sumner, 28, of Roanoke, was discovered on Nov. 8 in the afternoon, according to police. Her body was found near the 8800 block of Brush Mountain Road, according to authorities.
According to officials, around 2 p.m., a citizen called the Emergency Communications Center to report the body. The case is still being investigated, and no arrests have been made yet.
