A Roanoke senior living home celebrates its 35th anniversary
Roanoke, Virginia – On Friday, September 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Our Lady of the Valley, a senior care home, will celebrate its 35th anniversary at 650 North Jefferson Street.
Since 1989, Our Lady of the Valley has been offering care to more than 4,000 senior citizens.
Come enjoy cocktails, live music, and speeches from dignitaries such as Roanoke Vice Mayor Joe Cobb and His Excellency Bishop Barry C. Knestout of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. Residents, families, and community members are invited.
Special distinction will be given to long-tenured staff members, such as Connie Finney, who has worked for the company since its founding in 1989. There will also be awards honoring eleven workers who have contributed to the community for more than 20 years.
Those who have lived at Our Lady of the Valley for more than eight years will also be honored during the event.
