Basement fire in Roanoke on Thursday night – no one was hurt
Roanoke, VA – The cause of a basement fire that happened Thursday night is still under investigation.
Total of three people were displaced because of the fire. According to the reports, Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a call in the 2500 block of Memorial Avenue SW, near Edgewood Street around 9.30 pm.
When arrived, they found the basement and part of the house in fire.
According to Roanoke Fire-EMS, no injuries were reported as everyone got out of the house safely.
More information about this case are expected during the day.
