33 people arrested in Operation Mousetrap
Danville, Virginia – The Danville Police arrested 33 persons following a three-month investigation focused on apprehending wanted violent criminals associated with firearms-related charges.
Violent Crime and Gang Unit, the Crime Deterrence and Interdiction Unit and other department members cooperated together to locate and arrest the criminals in Operation Mousetrap.
The operation resulted in the arrest of 33 fugitives on accusations for murder, robbery and firearm offences, to probation violations and burglary. In addition, 13 guns, 54 grams of cocaine, 336 grams of K2 (synthetic marijuana), and 8 grams of heroin were seized by the officers.
