258 new Covid-19 cases, 10 more deaths reported in Virginia
Virginia – Officials from the Virginia Department of Health reported 258 new Covid-19 cases and 10 additional deaths on Thursday morning. This brings to a total of 676,041 Covid-19 cases and 11,216 virus related deaths in the Commonwealth.
Of those 676,041 Covid-19 cases and deaths, 526,049 are confirmed and 149,992 are reported as probable. Of those 11,216 virus related deaths, 9,464 are confirmed and 1,752 are reported as probable.
The following counties have reported more than 102,000 Covid-19 cases and deaths since the beginning of the pandemic:
- Alleghany County: 1,362 cases (-2), 60 hospitalizations (-1), and 49 deaths
- Amherst County: 2,962 cases, 124 hospitalizations, and 37 deaths
- Appomattox County: 1,617 cases, 71 hospitalizations, and 26 deaths
- Bath County: 273 cases, 10 hospitalizations, and 10 deaths
- Bedford County: 6,617 cases, 244 hospitalizations, and 109 deaths
- Bland County: 681 cases, 27 hospitalizations, and 10 deaths
- Botetourt County: 2,554 cases, 65 hospitalizations, and 38 deaths
- Buena Vista: 916 cases, 23 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
- Campbell County: 4,562 cases, 181 hospitalizations, and 86 deaths (-1)
- Carroll County: 2,695 cases, 222 hospitalizations, and 77 deaths
- Charlotte County: 874 cases, 56 hospitalizations, and 21 deaths
- Covington: 611 cases, 30 hospitalizations, and 14 deaths
- Craig County: 322 cases, 18 hospitalizations, and 6 deaths
- Danville: 4,471 cases, 299 hospitalizations, and 141 deaths
- Floyd County: 876 cases, 31 hospitalizations, and 23 deaths
- Franklin County: 4,081 cases (-1), 193 hospitalizations, and 79 deaths
- Galax: 1,176 cases, 97 hospitalizations, and 53 deaths
- Giles County: 1,303 cases, 51 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
- Grayson County: 1,495 cases, 97 hospitalizations, and 35 deaths
