William Byrd High School will compete in Vans Custom Culture Contest finals

Vinton, Virginia – William Byrd High School has been chosen as one of the 50 finalists in the VANS Custom Culture Contest, with the school having a chance to win $50,000.
Students at William Byrd designed customized VANS shoes, honoring VANS co-founder Paul Van Doren and emphasizing the greater Roanoke Valley, including Bedford.
If the school wins, the funds will be used to help WBHS’s art department.
Voting is now open at customculture.vans.com and will run through May 6th. Each individual may only vote once every day.
