VMI football rises to #14 in latest FCS Top 25 poll
LEXINGTON, Va. — Another week, another first for VMI football.
After coach Scott Wachenheim’s Keydets rallied for a 38-37 OT win over Samford on March 20th, VMI has now moved up 5 spots to #14 in the latest Stats Perform FCS Poll.
With the victory, VMI remained unbeaten and moved to 4-0 on the season, keeping a half-game ahead of Chattanooga (3-0) in the SoCon race. The 4-0 start is also the first for the program since 1981.
VMI faces Wofford on the road this Saturday at 1:00pm.
