Virginia reports 224 new Covid-19 cases and 4 additional deaths on Thursday

Virginia – Virginia health officials reported 224 new Covid-19 cases and 4 additional deaths on Thursday.

Since the beginning of the pandemic there are 680,564 Covid-19 cases and 11,419 virus related deaths recorded across the Commonwealth.

Health officials also reported a total of 30,510 hospitalizations across the state.

The following counties have reported more than 103,000 Covid-19 cases:

  • Alleghany County: 1,381 cases66 hospitalizations, and 50 deaths
  • Amherst County: 2,987 cases, 129 hospitalizations, and 40 deaths
  • Appomattox County: 1,625 cases, 72 hospitalizations, and 26 deaths
  • Bath County: 274 cases, 10 hospitalizations, and 11 deaths
  • Bedford County: 6,681 cases, 250 hospitalizations, and 109 deaths
  • Bland County: 689 cases, 28 hospitalizations, and 10 deaths
  • Botetourt County: 2,607 cases, 66 hospitalizations, and 38 deaths
  • Buena Vista: 936 cases, 26 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
  • Campbell County: 4,983 cases, 210 hospitalizations, and 100 deaths
  • Carroll County: 2,719 cases, 226 hospitalizations, and 79 deaths
  • Charlotte County: 872 cases, 56 hospitalizations, and 21 deaths
  • Covington: 611 cases, 32 hospitalizations, and 14 deaths
  • Craig County: 325 cases, 18 hospitalizations, and 6 deaths
  • Danville: 4,497 cases (-1), 309 hospitalizations, and 141 deaths
  • Floyd County: 885 cases, 31 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
  • Franklin County: 4,111 cases, 198 hospitalizations, and 81 deaths
  • Galax: 1,174 cases, 97 hospitalizations, and 53 deaths
  • Giles County: 1,334 cases, 55 hospitalizations, and 22 deaths
  • Grayson County: 1,513 cases, 101 hospitalizations, and 38 deaths
  • Halifax County: 2,840 cases, 81 hospitalizations, and 78 deaths
  • Henry County: 4,673 cases, 372 hospitalizations, and 124 deaths
  • Highland County: 110 cases, 1 hospitalization, and 1 death
  • Lexington: 1,206 cases (-1), 29 hospitalizations, and 33 deaths
  • Lynchburg: 7,481 cases (-2), 325 hospitalizations, and 147 deaths
  • Martinsville: 1,629 cases, 169 hospitalizations, and 79 deaths
  • Montgomery County: 9,430 cases, 193 hospitalizations, and 98 deaths
  • Nelson County: 892 cases, 41 hospitalizations, and 13 deaths
  • Patrick County: 1,404 cases, 115 hospitalizations, and 43 deaths
  • Pittsylvania County: 5,633 cases270 hospitalizations, and 83 deaths
  • Pulaski County: 2,725 cases, 131 hospitalizations, and 62 deaths
  • Radford: 2,179 cases, 40 hospitalizations, and 19 deaths
  • Roanoke City: 8,615 cases, 263 hospitalizations, and 199 deaths
  • Roanoke County: 8,436 cases, 186 hospitalizations, and 147 deaths
  • Rockbridge County: 1,569 cases, 57 hospitalizations, and 48 deaths
  • Salem: 2,217 cases (-1), 74 hospitalizations, and 50 deaths
