Virginia reported 1,712 new Covid-19 cases, 1 additional death

Virginia – Health officials reported 1,712 new Covid-19 cases and one additional death in Virginia.
With the above mentioned new cases and deaths, the Commonwealth now sees 723,727 Covid-19 cases and 11,618 virus-related deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Virginia Department of Health reported 69 new hospitalizations as of Monday. Two of the reported hospitalizations are from Roanoke City.
Virginia has administered 9,694,486 vaccine doses with 55.2% of the state’s population fully immunized.
