Victim identified in fatal Christmas Day shooting in Roanoke

Roanoke, Virginia – 26 year old Brianna Stevens of Roanoke, is the woman who was found dead outside a home on Christmas Day, according to officers.
Police officers arrived at 3400 block of Bennett Drive NW on Friday and found Brianna Stevens with an apparent gunshot wound lying on the ground outside a home. Later she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The homicide investigation is still ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
