VDH reported 6,757 new Covid-19 cases, 50 additional deaths

The Virginia Department of Health reported 6,757 new Covid-19 cases and 50 more deaths releated to the virus as of Saturday. This brings to a total of 429,391 Covid-19 cases and 5,706 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
As of Saturday, 5,915,263 PCR tests have been made. State’s positivity rate is 14.7%.
Across Virginia 3,119 people are hospitalized and 354 are on ventilators.
Since the beginning of the pandemic 35,095 patients have been released from Virginia’s hospitals.
