Shooting leaves one man wounded, Roanoke police investigating the case
Roanoke, Virginia – One man hospitalized after shooting in Northwest Roanoke.
Roanoke police officers were dispatched in the 900 block of Mountain Road NW around 1 p.m. after a call of a man shot.
Upon arrival officers found a man with what appeared to be serious gunshot injuries and the victim was immediately transported by EMS to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
It is still unclear at this moment what led up to the shooting.
Police say that no arrest have been made at this time since as no suspects were located at the scene.
