Roanoke man hospitalized with gunshot wound

Roanoke, Virginia – Roanoke Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Friday in the 3800 block of Panorama Avenue and sent one man to hospital with a gunshot wound.

Officers responded to a report at 6:40 p.m. and located a man with a gunshot wound.

According to Roanoke Fire-EMS, the man is hospitalized in Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital and is in life-threatening condition.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
