One man injured in Roanoke shooting over the weekend
Roanoke, Virginia – A shooting that occurred over the weekend in the southeast area of Roanoke and left one man injured is being investigated by the police.
The Roanoke Police Department got reports that a person had been shot in the 100 block of Campbell Avenue SE at around 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, June 26.
The officers who responded discovered a man lying on the ground in a parking lot with what seemed to be a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening. The victim was transported by Roanoke Fire-EMS to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment.
There are not many details available at this time on the events that led up to the shooting, but the police said that there have been no arrests made in connection with this ongoing investigation.
