Northeast Roanoke shooting leaves one man hospitalized
Roanoke, Virginia – According to the Roanoke Police Department, a man is hospitalized with gunshot wounds sustained on early Sunday morning in Northeast Roanoke.
Officers responded around 12:10 a.m. in the 600 block of Orange Avenue NE to a report of man shot. Upon arrival, a man with non-life threatening injuries was discovered. He was immediately transported for treatment to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital by Roanoke Fire-EMS.
Due to the victim’s lack of cooperation, authorities say they’re unsure of what may have caused the incident.
No one was arrested in connection to this incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
