Mill Mountain Zoo to celebrate its 69th birthday on July 10

Roanoke, Virginia – Mill Mountain Zoo turned 69 on 4th of July.
The Mill Mountain Zoo is operated by the Blue Ridge Zoological Society and was first opened in 1952.
The zoo will hold a special ceremony on Saturday, July 10 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to celebrate its birthday.
Fun activities and birthday cake are planned for the party.
