Man swept away along Roanoke River, crews working to rescue
Roanoke, Virginia – Rescue crews in Roanoke resumed searching for a subject that was swept away into the Roanoke River on Saturday evening.
Crews initially began their swift water rescue efforts on Saturday night along the Roanoke River.
A call was placed just before 6 p.m. with reports of a subject walking through swift water and was swept away.
Crews are using a drone pilot and a boat crew in an attempt to find the individual.
