Cuts with Cops provides back-to-school haircuts to kids in need
Roanoke County, Virginia – Officers from the Roanoke County Police Department want to make sure that youngsters in the valley go back to school with a new haircut and some new sneakers.
This is because the beginning of the school year is quickly approaching.
They held their second annual Cuts with Cops event, during which area barbers and sponsors spent the day preparing lunches for children and cutting hair for law enforcement officers.
In response to the fact that a few officials observed that parents were having difficulty meeting their financial obligations, they came up with the notion of doing something to assist them.
Additionally, this year, they were able to provide free footwear to children who attended the event thanks to the assistance of local businesses.
