Forbes names Member One Federal Credit Union one of Virginia’s Best Credit Unions
Roanoke, Virginia – Forbes has selected Member One Federal Credit Union as one of Virginia’s Best Credit Unions for the second year in a row.
“We are thrilled to have been selected as one of Forbes’ Best in State Credit Unions for the second year in a row. This designation goes to just over 3 percent of all credit unions nationwide and is an honor to receive in any year. However, we are even more proud to receive it after the extremely challenging year we’ve all been through. We believe it represents our strong commitment to doing what is right for our members, our employees, and our communities, no matter what,” Lori Cauley said, Chief Brand Officer for Member One.
Nearly 25,000 customers were surveyed by Forbes and market research firm Statista. They were asked about their present and previous banking arrangements.
Each financial institution was given a rating based on overall satisfaction and recommendation. They were also rated on trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial counseling, among other things. Only 3.6 percent of the 5,068 credit unions evaluated nationally made the Forbes list.
