City to reopen facilities to the public on June 15
Roanoke, Virginia – City libraries and recreation centers in Roanoke will fully reopen on June 15 as the current vaccination rate for the adult population exceeds 50%.
Wiley Drive will be reopened to traffic which will enable greater access to Smith Park.
People who have been fully vaccinated won’t be required wearing face mask in City facilities as of June 15.
In a short time, open access for the public will be resumed on the City Council meetings.
City officials encourage those who haven’t received Covid-19 vaccine to schedule an appointment and help them fight the virus.
