Roanoke man killed in moped crash
SALEM, Va. – Virginia State Police are investigating a Roanoke County crash that killed one person Thursday.
The incident happened on I-81 northbound at the 145.2 mile marker around 4:20 a.m.
The driver of a moped was going north when he ran off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail. The driver, 38-year-old Eric Deandre Norris, of Roanoke, was thrown and died at the scene.
