2 men charged after Martinsville restaurant shooting
MARTINSVILLE, Va. — Virginia State Police has identified the two individuals that were killed in Friday’s shooting at the El Norteno Restaurant.
VSP says 23-year-old Keilo Anton Martin of Martinsville and 33-year-old Shavon Lamont Reid of Martinsville were shot and killed inside the Restaurant bar area during the initial altercation on Friday evening before police arrived.
VSP and the Martinsville Police Department have identified and charged two men that were involved in the shooting.
According to warrants, 24-year-old Jamal Emun Jenkins of Collinsville was charged with:
- First-degree murder
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
- Willful discharge of a firearm in a public place resulting in a death
Also, 20-year-old Rosario Nasiar Eggleston of Martinsville has been charged with:
- Aggravated malicious wounding
- Conspiracy to commit aggravated malicious wounding
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
- Willful discharge of a firearm in a public place resulting in a death
