Report: Florida man arrested for beating his child with a belt
PENSACOLA, Fla. — A Pensacola man is accused of beating his child with a belt, leaving him with bruises all over his body, according to an arrest report.
Bryan Harrell, 37, of Pensacola, is charged with domestic violence child cruelty. He’s being held in Escambia County Jail without bond.
According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office report, the incident happened Sunday.
The report states deputies were called to the home Monday afternoon for a child cruelty complaint. Upon arrival, the victim told deputies his father beat him with a belt.
The child had multiple bruises to his right arm, back and side, according to the report.
