Welfare check request in Campbell County turned into a crime scene investigation after authorities discovered a male body
Campbell County, Virginia – Authorities in Campbell County said the death of a man is now being investigated as suspicious.
Campbell County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to conduct a welfare check at 270 Magaron Lane in Evington on July 27. When arriving at the location, they found a male body. Other than saying that the victim was 57 years old, additional information such as the identity of the man or the cause of death was not revealed.
