Republican candidate for Virginia governor makes stop in Lynchburg
LYNCHBURG, Va. — A candidate to be Virginia’s next governor made his stop in Lynchburg on Tuesday afternoon.
Glenn Youngkin is seeking the Republican nomination. He is born and raised in the Commonwealth, and he is currently on a trek across the state listening to citizen’s concerns.

Youngkin is not a career politician, but he has a 30-year real-world business experience. He says the skillsets he’s developed through that will be his biggest asset in rebuilding and reimagining Virginia.
“I think the hierarchy of problems in Richmond first really start with our economic growth and job creation,” Youngkin said. “We should absolutely lead the country in job creation.”
