Mama’s Blackberry Cobbler

This is my mama’s recipe.

- Be sure to disperse the berry mixture evenly and all the way to the edges of the dish.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons melted butter, divided
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1-1/2 cups sugar, divided
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups fresh blackberries or frozen unsweetened blackberries
