In May, Roanoke Valley Comicon will return
Roanoke, Virginia – On May 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tanglewood Mall will host the return of Roanoke Valley Comicon.
The upper floor of Tanglewood Mall will host Comicon. Children under ten enter free of charge, with general entry costing $5.00. The cost of the VIP entrance is $10.00. For VIPs, the doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
In addition to numerous exhibitors and creators, there will be a costume competition at this event. Kids (ages 0–13), Novice (placed at two or fewer contests), Journeyman (winning two or three contests), and Masters (won four or more contests) are the four divisions for the costume contest.
Participants may be transferred between categories according to craftsmanship and skill level. In the kids’ division, awards will be awarded to all contestants. In the remaining categories, a winner and a runner-up will be announced.
These are the same tickets that were sold for the March 23 show, which was canceled due to a power outage.
There are a few vendor booths available. We invite those who would like to put up vendor booths to register as soon as possible.
