Defined Contribution Board of the City of Roanoke to Hold Quarterly Meeting
The Defined Contribution Board, as appointed by City Council and established under Chapter 22.3, Section 22.3-78 of City Code, which administers the defined contribution plan components of the City of Roanoke Pension Plan and the City’s IRC §457 Deferred Compensation Plan for employees of the City, will hold its regular quarterly meeting at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, through electronic communication means. The Defined Contribution Board will meet to consider investment and related matters for the administration of the defined contribution and deferred compensation plans.
Based on the declarations of emergency made by the President of the United States, the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the Roanoke City Manager, the emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic disaster makes it unsafe and unhealthy for the public to attend this meeting in person. The public may obtain a copy of the agenda for this meeting or participate at this meeting by contacting Harold Harless at 853-6484 or via email at Harold.Harless@roanokeva.gov to obtain information to access this meeting via electronic means and the agenda.
