CVS Health pushes vaccine administration to Friday for Virginia locations
RICHMOND, Va. — CVS Health announced earlier this month that they will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines to those eligible at Virginia pharmacies.
However, they recently said the start date has now been pushed back.
Pharmacy locations were set to begin vaccinations on Thursday, but the date is now pushed back a day to Friday.

They say it’s to ensure the in-store availability of the vaccine.
They say individuals who are 65+ and have pre-registered with their local health department can schedule their appointments on Thursday.
Per the guidance of the Virginia Department of Health, only individuals who are on their local health department’s waitlist are eligible to schedule their appointments at CVS Pharmacy.
You can make your appointment via CVS.com or through the CVS Pharmacy app, and those without online access can contact customer service: (800) 746-7287.
